The team at Camilla Campbell Yoga are here to help provide you with a positive start to the year ! Not only have we dropped our prices but we have new teachers offering new classes as well as some fabulous cleansing classes and workshops to get a much needed detox ! Our hot Power Yoga class heats up with an additional class on Saturday mornings and our monthly Teacher Training begins with 24 new recruits.

Join us fund raising for The Haven Breast Cancer support centres by repeating sun salutations 108 times. Get sponsorship as a team through the studio and see if we can complete them in under 75 minutes.

We are all feeling the heat of the economy on our lifestyles and we really believe that yoga can help eleviate some of the strain mentally and physically as well as bring more balance to your life.  So we have dropped ALL our prices and hope that many more of you will reap the benefits of the classes in this beautiful space. 

NEW TIMETABLE AND TEACHERS

This year brings us Hathalini classes with Vanessa Dale, early morning sun salutations with Shelly and welcomes another two very dynamic new teachers in Heather Earl and Tatiana Mercier both of whom will be running powerful vinyasa flow classes around lunchtime during the week. Tatiana’s class will be 45 minutes – perfect for your lunch break !

HOT YOGA

Bikram Yoga isn’t for everyone but at 29 degrees, our Power Detox class is warm enough to relax and stretch muscles for a deeper workout, but not so hot that it tests your willpower. We have added a Saturday morning class to our timetable so come and try it.

EARLY BIRD CLASSES

2012 introduces two early morning classes to do before you go to work or drop your children off at school. Monday morning’s Power Yoga class with Natalie at 6.30am, and Wednesday mornings Sun Salutations with Sara and Shelly at 7.00am.

YOGA BY CANDLELIGHT

On the second Sunday of each month, Mandy will be hosting a Yoga Nidra class by candlelight and every fourth Sunday, Ruth and Nickie will be hosting Restoratative Yoga at the studio, all by candlelight. This is a wonderful way to recover from a busy weekend and a perfect start to the week ahead. Put the dates in your dairy and book your place online.

BABY YOGA

Camilla is back from maternity leave and is starting 4-week Baby Yoga Courses from January. These classes are hugely popular so sign up for your space on the course with your baby now ! To find out more about what it entails, click here

POSTNATAL YOGA

New mothers can attend Postnatal Yoga from two weeks after giving birth. The class includes a gentle progression of yoga poses for toning your body and renewing your strength while helping to alleviate the stress incurred by giving birth. You can attend these classes with your babies and often your baby participates in some of the postures!

YOGANORY FOR CHILDREN

This course is for children aged between 2 and 4 years old and is run over 10 weeks during the term time. It is very hard to accommodate all school schedules but we hope that you will be able to bring your family to our new class on Thursday mornings.

YUNGA YOGA

We would LOVE to have yoga classes for children at the studio but finding a time that suits all the children with their multitude of extra-curricular activities is really hard. So we are going to the schools instead ! We currently teach at Charterhouse, St Catherine’s in Bramley, Southborough High School, begin at Cranmore this term and have taught at St George’s College Junior School. Yoga has so many benefits for children and we would love to expand these classes at the local schools and then eventually hold them at the studio. Watch this space for holiday camps though!

YOGA FOR SPORTS

Do you know the benefits that yoga has for athletes from all disciplines? It helps rotation for golfers, reach for rowers, eases lower back pain through ham string work for runners… and so it goes on. But what we never talk about is how improved lung capacity can impact your exercise positively by helping you endurance and ultimately speed. Join the Yoga for Runners and Cyclists class on Tuesday nights or any other style of yoga to reap the benefits to your sport. The more physical classes tend to attract sportsmen and women like Ashtanga Yoga, Dynamic Vinyasa Flow and Power Yoga.
