Energy Balance Stability

YOGA Whether you are struggling to sleep at night, are suffering from back pain or tight limbs, feeling stressed or just looking for an alternative form of exercise, yoga is for you. Yoga is the union of body, mind and spirit which restores and maintains a healthy body by developing strength, balance and flexibility. It can be physically demanding but it is versatile enough to be adapted to suit any life stage or body shape - teen years, pregnancy, middle and advanced years. There is no 'one-way' to practice yoga and is not about being stronger, more flexible or better than anyone else, but about controlling your mind and body through a sequence of moves and breathing techniques. The regular practice of asanas (sequence of postures) and pranayamas (breathing techniques), work together to help control one's senses and concentration. If practiced regularly enough, yoga can become a form of meditation to you and you will see the results in your daily life. |

Yoga is the perfect exercise for pregnant women. It is a gentle, safe means of keeping the body toned and supple without strain, of keeping aches and pains at bay and energy flowing, while preparing for the physical demands of childbirth and motherhood itself. Getting your body back into shape after giving birth, can be a very daunting prospect. Together with your baby, yoga can help tone up your muscles and get your body aligned all while bonding with your child. |
